Ani Seigel

Ani is a singer-songwriter and guitarist, and a recent graduate from the University of Michigan (class of 2025), where she studied Arts and Ideas in the Humanities with a concentration in music. She is a touring and recording musician as well as a sound engineer at the North Star Lounge, and has released 4 albums of her own original music under the names Ani Mari and Ani & Kora. At the U of M, she studied guitar (both contemporary and classical), jazz and improvisation, and composition, and completed an honors thesis in songwriting. Ani has over 5 years of experience teaching music to children of all ages, and is passionate about teaching our next generation of musicians by crafting curricula catered to each student's interests, learning speed, and musical goals.
